Live a Heart Healthy Lifestyle
GOSHEN, Ind. - Join Goshen Health System during Heart Health Awareness month as we continue to celebrate 30 years of Goshen Health System's Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
Dottie Kauffman, RN, BSN, Goshen General Hospital's Cardiac Rehab Coordinator, will lead the discussion in how to lead a heart healthy lifestyle on Feb. 26 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Martin's Supermarket in Goshen on US 33. The class will be held in the upstairs section of Martins' Side Door Deli.
Kauffman will address risk factors for heart disease, signs and symptoms of heart attack and stroke for both men and women, and much more. She will also provide free Heart Monitor patterns for participants.
In addition, two lucky participants will have a chance to win a new pedometer to help track every healthy step they take. This is a free event presented by Goshen Health System and Martin's Super Markets.
